BUNBURY CITY COUNCIL
Australian Parking and Revenue Control (APARC), the Australia agent for the Parkeon Strada Rapide Pay &Display ticket issuing machines was the successful respondent in a Request for Tender advertised by the City of Sunbury for 110 ticket issuing machines. As Sunbury is a coastal city located about two hundred kilometres south of Perth in Western Australia, the City required machines that would be able to withstand the harsh conditions that are experienced such as driving winter rains and hot summer days. Since their installation in July 2010, the machines, which have both coin and credit card facilities, have operated with an up time of 99.89% and faults associated with coin or ticket jams have been non existent. The City of Sunbury compiled much research in the performance of the Parkeon Strada Rapide machines and the work of APARC prior to selecting this particular machine and the advice received has been consistent with the professional nature of the service provided by the company and its staff.
WILLOUGHBY CITY COUNCIL
Australian Parking and Revenue and Control Services (APARCS) was awarded the tender for supply, installation and maintenance of meters in 2008 by Willoughby City Council. Council now has 40 Strada Rapide parking meters operating with coin and credit card payment facilities. The majority of these meters were installed in October 2008. The reliability and hence uptime of the meters have been impressive in all weather conditions. Since installation of the meters, APARCS maintenance staff have generally attended to any issues well within the contractual response time of two hours. APARCS is professional in its approach to its services and focuses on customer satisfaction. APARCS staff have a good knowledge of products they maintain and are always helpful. APARCS has the support of the meter manufacturer PARKEON. The communications and management system that the meters are linked with, PARKFOLlO, provides a great deal of reliable information about the parking meters which enables detailed analysis of the of the meters. I am very happy with the performance of the Strada Rapide parking meters and APARCS services. I am happy to elaborate on my comments above if required.

WAVERLEY CITY COUNCIL
I have much pleasure in certifying to the reliability of the Parkeon parking meter and to the professional approach and quality of work of Australian Parking and Revenue Control Services (APARCS). Council in 1999 installed 328 Reino multi-bay parking meters at Bondi Beach, Bondi Junction and Bronte Beach. In 2006 it was decided to replace these meters with pay and display machines with coin and credit card functionality. APARCS tender for the supply, installation and maintenance of 262 Parkeon Strada Rapide pay and display parking meters was accepted by Council. Installation commenced in December 2006 and was completed on time and budget in February 2007. The Parkeon meter has preformed far beyond that was expected of it. Up time of the meter has exceeded 99.9% and income forecasts have also been exceeded. In regards to the maintenance of the meters, I have found that APARCS have at all times carried out their work in a professional and timely manner and have found their representatives to be honest, conscientious and reliable. Having been able to continually observe the performance of the Parkeon Strada Rapide parking meter and the work of APARCS for Council, I can confidently recommend the meter and their work to any organisation requiring a reliable meter and company to undertake parking meter installation and maintenance.

WARRNAMBOOL CITY COUNCIL
The Warrnambool City Council (Council) engaged Australian Parking and Revenue Control (APARC) to supply and install Strada Rapide ticket machines and the MyParkfolio web based parking management system. APARC have provided excellent customer service throughout the tender, supply and installation process, going above and beyond contractual requirements. The APARC staff have been very supportive, efficient and professional in their interactions with our staff. The Strada Rapide ticket machines and the MyParkfolio products, have proven to meet Council’s needs. While early into our operations of the new ticket machines, Council has confidence the machines will provide a good service for Council and the community. I have no hesitation in recommending APARC, MyParkfolio and the Strada Rapide ticket machine.

Facilities Management (FM) at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) recently awarded Australian Parking and Revenue Control (APARC) the contract to purchase and manage 7 new Parkeon Rapide parking meters in addition to the 6 already installed on the Kensington Campus. The Parkeon Rapide pay and display meters offer users either coin or credit card payment facility which to date have been extremely reliable. Following the installation of the Parkeon meters APARC have fulfilled their contractual requirements by hosting and managing the communications system via Parkfolio, managed the credit card transactions and have provided training to our staff. We would not hesitate in recommending both APARC and the Parkeon Rapide meters to any organisation that may require this service. APARC conduct their business in a very professional manner with all staff providing exceptional customer service.

GREATER SHEPPARTON CITY COUNCIL
This is to advise that, over the past three years, Greater Shepparton City has been replacing on-street multi-bay parking meters with Parkeon Rapide Pay and Display Machines. The machines have also been installed in two Council off-street car parks. The Parkeon Rapide Pay and Display Machine provides ease of use for motorists, and requires minimal maintenance. Coin jams had previously been a source of frustration for both motorists and our meter maintenance staff, however there are no coin jams with the Parkeon Rapide Pay and Display Machine. Phillip Verity and his staff from Australian Parking and Revenue Control have provided excellent service and assistance during the installation of the machines, and this support has been ongoing since the installation.

DARWIN WATERFRONT COUNCIL
The Darwin Waterfront Precinctis a developing area. As part of Stage I. the Corporation installed a total of 11 Parkeon pay and display meters throughoutthe precinct in off street and on street parking areas. The Corporation purchased the Parkeon meters from Australian Parking and Revenue Control(APARC) at the same time the Darwin City Council awarded APARC the supply and installation of 281 meters. The meters selected and purchased by the Corporation are fitted with only coin payment facilities and are accessible via the Padreon Portal through to the management system. Since installation. the Parkeon machines have performed exceptionally wellthrough our extreme “Dry” and ‘Wet” seasons with no down time due to machine or componentfailure. Phillip Verity and the APARC team have. and are great to deal with. and have always been highly professional. competent and knowledgeable with regard to the product they are selling and servicing. The technical support offered by APARC has been outstanding with the staff able to offer prompt and helpful assistance to any issues or enquiries. Without doubt. I am confidentin recommending both the Parkeon meters and APARC to any organisation looking for a professional provider of parking equipment.
DARWIN CITY COUNCIL
Darwin City Council has a total of 327 Meters located around the CBD, consisting of 301 Parkeon Meters & 26 PSA Meters. In the last 12 months Council has purchased 281 Parkeon Parking Meters after a trial of 3 alternative brands over three years -Transfer Evolution. All Parkeon Meters are set up on communications (Parkfolio) that enables for downloads i.e. tariff changes. Since installation the Parkeon Meters have performed with 99.9% uptime, well above expectations especially with very high humidity & high temperatures 6 months of the year. During the Wet Season (October to May) maintenance staff were required to change the ticket rolls from paper to poly-paper in the alternative brand Meters to overcome the ticket jams when printing. However, Parkeon Meters require no changeover as the paper used absorbs moisture. Another exclusive feature of the Parkeon Meters is the electronic coin selector. The electronic coin selector will not accept any foreign objects or inappropriate coins, thereby preventing jams, supported by the fact Council has experienced minimal coin jams in the Parkeon Meters. The same cannot be said for other brands. APARCS has been highly competitive in its tendering and consummately professional in fulfilling its contractual requirements to supply, install, commission and maintain the meters. APARCS Technical Support has been outstanding; the staff are well versed in their equipment and programming and provide prompt and helpful assistance to telephone queries &requests. I highly recommend APARCS as a preferred supplier for parking meters.
TOWNSVILLE CITY COUNCIL
I have much pleasure in certifying to the reliability of the Parkeon parking machine and to the professional approach and quality of work of Australian Parking and Revenue Control Services (APARCS). Council purchased 10 Parkeon Strada pay and display ticket machines in early 2008 with coin and credit card payment facilities. The Parkeon machines have performed exceptionally well since installation, even through the hot and wet conditions in Townsville which have caused significant downtime in our other CHS and Wilson pay and display ticket machines. Having been able to observe the performance of the Parkeon Strada parking machine and the work of APARCS in commissioning the machines for Council, I can confidently recommend the machine to any organisation requiring an extremely reliable ticket machine. FREEMANTLE CITY COUNCIL
The City of Fremantle has a total of 220 pay and display machines located in the city centre. In the last 12 months Council has purchased 30 Parkeon Strada Rapide pay and display machines from Australian Parking and Revenue Control (APARC), All of the Parkeon machines purchased have coin and credit card payment facilities and are accessible via the Parkfolio centralised management system. Since installation, the Parkeon machines have performed beyond our expectations showing that they have no problems operating in foggy salt laden conditions and inclement weather that has caused downtime in other machines, There have been no problems with tickets jamming and there have been no coin jams both of which are major problems for our other machines. APARC have been a pleasure to deal with. I have found Phillip Verity and his team to be highly professional in their dealings with me. The technical support offered by APARC has been outstanding with the staff able to offer prompt and helpful assistance to any telephone enquiries. Having carried out a rigorous tendering process and observing the performance of the Parkeon Strada Rapide parking machine and the work of APARC the City of Fremantle has selected APARC and Parkeon as its preferred supplier of pay and display ticket machines. Maribyrnong City Council has currently have 162 Ticket Machines / Multi Bays within our Municipality.
At the present moment Council have 5 different brands of parking meters.
Approximately 20 months ago, Council decided to purchase a ticket machine from APARC (Parkeon). The reason why we purchased only 1 meter was to undertake a trial. After a few discussions with people from 2 other Councils they stated that these machines are very reliable & near impossible to break into. Therefore we decided to put this meter in our busiest car park in our municipality. The car park in question operates 7 days a week from 7.am – 10.pm. After a period of 12 months continuous use, there was only 2 minor faults reported which required minimal attention during this period. The previous meter from another manufacturer which was in the same location was reporting faults on a regular basis, as a result was costing Council a significant amount of income due to that meter being faulty along with the inconvenience to the general public. Further to this, the APARC meter had a bigger cash box compared to the other brands which Council are using. Therefore Cash Collections on this machine were not as frequent due to holding capacity which was at least 15 – 20% greater. Whilst we only had 1 meter, it proved beyond doubt this trial was a great success.
Council needed to replace a number of outdated meters. Therefore undertook a Tender for a total of 20 Parking Meters in last financial year. The tender panel reached an unanimous decision to award the Tender to APARC. This decision was based on a number of factors, such as price, reliability and customer service just to name a few. In relation to this tender, there was need to have these machines delivered to Council prior to the end of the financial year, though there was only 4 weeks to go. I contacted APARC as to see if they could meet the deadline as per tender specs it is a 6 week time frame. APARC advised me that they could meet our deadline and have them delivered to Council by that date. Not only did they deliver the meters on time, they kept updating us on where the meters are and what day and time they will be arriving. Outstanding Customer Service from all the team to make this happen.
The meters were installed shortly after then and the ongoing support we have received from APARC has been overwhelming. Out of all the meters there was one with a faulty part, though after phone call, a new part was delivered the following day. As of today to my knowledge we have not had any concerns of note regarding these 20 meters.
My opinion, I cannot fault these meters along with the customer service that Council has received from APARC. Without any hesitation I would highly recommend APARC to any other Council and the private sector.
